Amoreaux House Built in 1792, the Amoreaux House in Ste. Genevieve, MO is an architectural and historic gem. A former slave named Pelagie, who embraced life as a free woman, made this house her home. As an important story in Missouri history, Amoreaux House is open to visitors and provides and wonderful and engaging learning opportunity for both teachers and students.
